The primary aim of the H-HOPE project led by the University of Padova in Italy is to develop and demonstrate an innovative and sustainable hydropower technology capable of harnessing latent hydro energy within non-hydropower hydraulic systems to power IoT and sensors that help manage our water networks efficiently.

Our task involved formulating a comprehensive commercialisation strategy, evaluating potential routes-to-market and market readiness, and devising an initial business plan and communication strategy to effectively introduce and promote the innovative energy harvester technology.
