Charting the Course for European Innovation: Insights from EIC Summit 24

Returning from the EIC Summit 24 and EU Research Innovation Days 24, we had the privilege of engaging with innovators and policymakers in meaningful discussions about the future strategic vision of innovation in Europe.

The significance of venture capital and private investments in facilitating the transition of European innovators from research to market was underscored as essential for fostering innovation-driven economic growth.

Despite this recognition, national budget allocations for research and development still fall short of targets amidst escalating competition. There exists a noticeable funding gap and bureaucratic obstacles that may compel startups to seek more innovation-friendly jurisdictions.

We were delighted to connect with aspiring European innovators and look forward to collaborating to support the scaling up of innovative solutions.
